I’ve been talking to my friend about summer travel plans! She’s from Tennessee, studied at Ole Miss, but did a year abroad at my school in England and then transferred there and finished her degree in England. But last year we talked about taking a southern road trip, blasting country music, taking backroads, going to bonfires by the lake etc. And now we’re actually planning it! I think I’ll probably be going to Nashville (!) a couple of days early so that I get to do everything I wanna do/see there, then we’ll drive to Graceland, Ole Miss and down to New Orleans! And possibly with 2 other friends too. Omg I hope we can get it all planned and worked out. Ahhhhhhhhh, NASHVILLE I AM COMING TO YOU.

I’ve also decided that I wanna do all my travelling, and then fly back to Oregon for 5 days or so before I actually fly home, home. That way I get to wrap up the year abroad with my friends here and actually have a proper goodbye rather than just fading out. And it sounds like most of my friends will either be living in Eugene in the summer, or be up in Portland. <3
